Rahul we need your Seva

Rahul there are few reasons why you should continue to remain as the President of Congress.

First, you or your family (I mean Sonia family), alone have the courage and authority to openly rebuke those Congress leaders who always kept their personal interest and promoted their own children at the cost of the party and people.  No other Indian leaders can do that or other congress leaders will listen to them. Since your grandmother Indira Gandhi,congress developed a special DNA to remain a slave to your family.  They will listen to only the command of the High command from your family.  Suddenly they cannot change their DNA and begin to listen to other Indian leaders’ orders or even advice.  They were never allowed to think and act independently from your family. Those who managed to do that have to leave your party like Mamta didi, Rengaswami (in Pondicherry), Jagan Mohan Reddy.  Of course, there are fine Indian leaders who can think properly but they cannot act. You cannot think but you can act.  Better to have a person who can act than to think and your team will do all the thinking. Even if you allow any Indian as the Congress President he or she will remain only a puppet leader of your family holding the remote control.@ That will be a worst scenario.  There is some truth in it also.  Then that poor puppet leader will be blamed for everything while your family enjoys the immunity from any kind of blame. Of course, at present you also have that immunity—only getting credit when your party wins any election and accepting collective blame minus your family for defeat.

Next, for the welfare of our democracy, we need a strong opposition. Though Congress is not strong now, at least it alone can serve as the opposition party on all India level and it is not easy at present to construct another all India party to challenge BJP (thanks to RSS).  Congress is at present in a critical juncture. It can neither have you or your family as its leader nor can it substitute another person.  Neither can it survive with you nor can it remain alive without you.

Thirdly, which is the more crucial and important one: BJP needs you to face the election in 2024?  Of course, there is no challenger at all India level for Modi or BJP.  But in 2024, anti incumbency will be strong to challenge BJP.  And only if you continue to remain as the Congress President and continue to raise some famous slogans, like ‘chowkidar chor hai’ (the watchman is the thief) then BJP can easily win  that election also.

This is what any dynastic politician can do in every party.  It cannot allow the natural talent to grow and contribute to the party and public. Even if the dynastic leader wants to allow and promote it, others won’t allow it. There will be a severe competition among the rest of the party leaders to get proximity with the leader and that family to show others how they are important among the rest of the leaders.  They will fight internally and ditch each other to get a place in the kitchen cabinet of the family.  So the talented leaders will remain submissive to survive in the party and politics to the dynastic family.  At least you will continue to help other (regional parties like DMK) to learn this good lesson from you.  Where an individual or a family becomes the focus rather than a strong principle or policy, dynastic politics will fail after the second or third generation.

But Indian democracy will continue to survive even without them.  But at present, we need even a nominal opposition party with all Indian presence to bark at the thief, though it cannot catch him.

You have no other option but to continue to remain as the President of Congress and better get married and get children to supply future Congress Presidents.  Or your entire family has to give up politics and leave the matter to the Indian Congress leaders to lead the party further.  There are only two options left before your family: completely renounce politics or continue to remain as the Congress President making it a one family party to help BJP to continue to remain in power for next few decades.

Considering all these points, please continue to remain as the President of Congress and don’t quit.

@ Even though Sri Malikajuna Karge became the Congress President now, still it is the first family who holds the HIGH COMMAND hold the final command.
