Ram temple
Suddenly there are lots of videos, articles, discussions, debates about the Ram temple that is going to be inaugurated by our PM. But Ram Temple didn’t suddenly come up in one day as a ‘svayambu’ [appearing on its own] . When the final verdict came in favour of Ram temple, the next moment the plan to construct a grand temple at Ayodhya started. But why suddenly this bustle of messages and videos? I think those who want to oppose or show that they need to oppose—to prove their SECULAR CREDENTIAL. I consider this nothing but intellectual emotional outburst. Once they have recorded their objection then they will go back to their normal mode of life. But those who live with a deep conviction, never wavering in the mind and not to appease or please others do such things of ‘Hit and Run’.
One of the main objections is that while so many people living below poverty and so many violence in the name of religion [with a political agenda] is going on amidst us, instead of resolving them or paying attention to them, why we should waste our money, time and energy that too merely for a Political Symbol using Religious SENTIMENT of Hindus? It is irritating when some Indians who took asylum in the west, particularly from America, visit India, blaming that every Indian lives with sickness, poverty and with serious pollution problems, whereas not paying attention to it but building a grand temple. They forget that one percent of the richest people in the west alone contribute to more than 80 per cent of carbon emission that chokes most of the people in developing and under developed countries [watch the first three minutes of Vantage cop 28, ‘https:www.youtube.com/live/IXOuNiR5G31?si=Zu 1vqFhfn2_Hmnj4 by Palkisharma]. When we question this they say, ‘don’t blame others for your problem’. They want to conveniently forget all the damage that has been done by the developed countries and now expect others to pay for it. This is like saying, ‘we used our luxurious and comfortable life which causes some damage to the environment. But we cannot give up. But you don’t develop as it will further add to the problem that was created by us. As you used to live in poverty and backwardness, continue in it so that we can enjoy our luxury’. One such Indian refugee from America even said, ‘I do not have hopes for India and do not see a point in talking about India anymore’. I would also say we don’t want to listen to your talk or even your visit to our country. Never come back here and continue to live as a second class citizen in your Promised Land. You forgot that however you believe and try to imitate that you have become an American, still you remain a REFUGEE in the minds of the majority of the White Americans, even after several generations. I am happy that such scums like you have left India by cleansing from your shit presence here’ and we can live happily as the children of this wonderful land called Bharat. Jai Hind.
And the worst scenario is to take this occasion of Ram Temple as a pretext to ‘Hit and Run’ as usual blaming Indians for all the current problems. Yes we are aware of it and we are happy to stay and struggle with our own people with all our internal problems rather than seeking asylum in the west. As Subramanya Bharatiyar said: Thousands of divisions [Jatis] are amidst us but what justify for any outsider to come and interfere in our affairs. They forget to remember that what India achieved in the last 75 years after Independence that too literarily looted by the British and left us in a mess with partition problem which still took a toll on both India and Pakistan [like the Americans interfere in other nations and flee deserting them as they have done in Afghanistan]. Particularly in the last 30 years, thanks to our late PM Sri Narasimha Rao for laying the foundation and Dr Manmohan Sing consolidating it to the next level from where no further PM can turn back, irrespective of political affiliation. We pushed Britain back to 5th position and moving forward compare to the long history of American growth that too using salves and annihilating indigenous people and British who looted several colonies for them to achieve what they achieved in the past and now seeking economic cooperation the same colonies like India to survive after Brixit.
Well, if they are seriously concerned about these urgent issues, then it should not come once in a while, particularly using it as a weapon to oppose someone or express their secular credentials. All kinds of violence remain and will continue to remain in every society and country, like gun culture in the West and more specifically in America or racial problems. If anyone one thinks that all other needs in life could be addressed only after solving these issues, then life is not going to move. Then why waste this much time in creating the videos and investing time to write messages? What is the need for art, literature, festivals etc. etc. Both evil and good are two parts of life. In fact, one needs the other even to survive. They are the two sides of the same coin. They are not anthesis but synthesis completing and complementing each other.
The worst hypocrisy is the politician who launches all kinds of attacks on Modi, particularly for him to inaugurate the temple as a PM. For example Sitaram Yachuri, the Communist leader in a video questioned Modi and Yogi [Uttar Pradesh CM] participation in their official capacity as PM and CM.
Yachuri says that as a Communist he respects the individual rights of every one to follow any faith, but when it comes someone in power should remain secular too according to their interpretation?
Sorry I don’t agree. If respect to individual faith should be respected. Why not that of a person called Modi, who is democratically elected by the people of India, also remains as the PM. Doesn’t mean he has to give up his personal faith because he also happens to be the PM, that too as per the constitution. Does it mean that he and Yogiji should resign to officiate the temple and then again become PM and CM. Yachuri represents only the collective hypocrisy of all—be it politicians or pseudo secularists. Will the same communist would preach the same to Xi, who crushes the very religious rights of so many as a communist. Will the same Pseudo secularist voice their opposition when religion is used to gain political power anywhere in the world?
At least I am happy that if not only a historical injustice is corrected but again the hypocrisy of so many people who live without any conviction but always carried away by opinion is exposed again. It is well said that Great people cherish conviction and small people entertain opinions. Conviction costs one’s very life whereas opinion only suffocates temporarily. But those who live with conviction never compromise with it for anyone and always willing to pay their life as the cost for that. Those ‘hit and run’ pseudo secular hypocrists might call it wrong or misguided conviction. But they say this not even with real conviction but mere opinion knowing well how to escape from such suffocation and survive.
The problem is not that a religious place [temple or any other institution] is inaugurated by the head of the government in a secular state. But it was done by Modiji. In the past non-BJP government heads both at the central and state level have done the same. When the same Modi goes outside India and inaugurates any religious place [going to inaugurate a grand temple in UAE next month] as a visiting Head of a Secular government that is not an issue. Because there the Pseudo Secular political parties cannot do politics and there is no need for it. And the Pseudo Secularist need not cry for ‘Social justice’ there. This is nothing but a double standard of every Pseudo politician, more so the communists and all the pseudo secularists.
Well, they have their right to express their views and so I do have the same.
I know several become irritated and upset by my strong support for Modiji. They think that now I have become a Rightist. But all these terms like ‘Right(ist)’ ‘Left(ist)’ and ‘Centre(ist)’ is nothing but another kind of selective opinion, if not outright hypocrisy. As I don’t believe in such labels I don’t want to put any of them. We all are a combination of all the three and choose one according to our need and circumstance. Above all a true Centrist remaining HONEST NEUTRALISTS will oppose the hypocrisy of both right and left and support good in both of them. But only opportunists sitting on the wall would remain judgmental not knowing which side to jump. About true neutralist Valluvar says:
சமன்செய்து சீர்தூக்குங் கோல்போல் அமைந்தொருபால்
கோடாமை சான்றோர்க் கணி.—Kural 118
English Couplet 118:
To stand, like balance-rod that level hangs and rightly weighs,
With calm unbiassed equity of soul, is sages’ praise
Couplet Explanation:
To incline to neither side, but to rest impartial as the even-fixed scale is the ornament of the wise
Only a noble and wise centralist alone can do this.
