என்னதான் சொல்ல
வருகிறார் என்று
மீண்டும் சற்று
சிந்தித்த போது
முற்றாக என்னை
குழப்பினார் என்று
தெளிவாக எனக்கு
புரிந்தது பின்பு
அந்தத் தெளிவு
வந்த பின்னே
அதையே பிறருக்கு
சொன்னபோது
எப்படி முற்றாய்
குழம்பிப் போனான்
ஏன் நம்மையும்
இப்படிக் குழப்புறான்
என்று என் மேல்
இரக்கம் கொண்டு
குழப்பம் தெளிவிக்க
சொல்லிய போது
பிறந்த தெளிவும்

Secular Song 616 Confusion
Am I confusing others
Because I am confused by them
Or am I confusing others

This confusion
Is not at all new
It never it remained
As a confusion
As there is none
To teach me clearly

In order to get more clarity
When I requested them to explain further
The clarity that I received from them
Remained unclear to me now
Anyhow to escape

I pretended as if I understood
And went away
Then when I began
To think that
At the end
What they explained to me
Then I clearly
Understood that

That clarity
And try to
Communicate to them
‘How much now
He is confused and
Why he tries
To confuse us more’?
And taking
Pity on me
When they try to
Further clarify
All the clarity that I got
Also gone, now I am living

Of course we are living in a busy world. Even a lazy person has no time and remains very active—of course in his laziness. And this being the reality of life now with social media and Internet invasion in our life, expecting some proper response, not even any quick response to certain issues, particularly to certain causes to which all are equally committed, naturally we old generation become frustrated. And when one such scenario came in my life, finally sending the last reminder I wrote, ‘this would be the final reminder from my side. I am also busy like everyone else’. The worst case is with a person, who alone promised to follow one issue in which he is also involved to take up, never responded even to one of my messages. In another case, when I tried to contact that person who alone committed to help in one area in which I had one question, I sent messages using all kinds of media like: WhatsApp, email, etc failed. Finally, I called him several times. But no response. Then I have done the same to his wife with a request to contact him. Again, no response. Finally, I contacted his father-in-law again with the same result. Then out of frustration I give up not knowing whether they have decided to ‘boycott’ me or really too busy to give some kind of response.

Therefore, don’t ask it why it is always roaming
And then get attacked back by it
Don’t keep the garden lizard

Complain that
It is giving lots of troubles
As one’s own had alone doing the thala@
And as we began to dance accordingly
The same hand alone has to come
To give various expression in the dance
Nobody will come to your performance
Therefore, they won’t say you are not dancing properly
They will say that time has now come
For us to dance alone and also watch it alone

It is true that there is no point in arguing with a fool. At the same time it is not good to leave him with the impression that we don’t have answers to his [foolish] questions. So one should have the discerning spirit to know whether a person is worth to receive some advice, when he sought it and ready to listen to it [whether he accepts it or not] without arguing on secondary points. Then keep away from them is good.

A bundle of spices
