As I sat for my prayer time and quiet time, I contemplated the way this day went. In one way my life goes as if it is programmed without any change. The same food, the same walking, the same reading, the same cross stitch, the same T.V. program etc. etc. Nothing changes and each day runs with the same routine. But I never feel bored with this kind of life, as every life is some kind of routine for all. But my bhakti helps me to celebrate it fresh each day with the grace of God. As I thought about it I wrote this song to thank God for this day. The way I ended most of the lines with ‘ichu’ will add some kind of humour to this song. Those who can read alone understand this kind of genre in Tamil.

Another beautiful morning here as the rain continued with gentle drizzle. When I went for my walk I enjoyed the climate, the nature around me mesmerized me. I completely become one with nature in worshiping the Lord. So when I wrote this song, I tried to integrate as many parts of nature as possible to celebrate God’s gift through nature. I even included ocean, volcano, forest and mountains in it.

As I went to Dhyanamandapa I was thinking about various meetings that were held here with so many bhaktas. But since last one year, due to various reasons and lack of time, almost all such meetings have come to an end here. I am not sure how anyone is going to come in the future for any meeting. But I am not discouraged by it, as I always preferred to live alone. When I am expected to be whole heartedly I am involved and have done my best. But when there is no work or responsibilities to serve others, I don’t miss much. In fact I don’t miss anything, as I prefer this recluse life. So as I was contemplating it, I wrote this song that not our ability but availability is the only qualification for God to use us for His Kingdom in any way.
