“A dedication to Trump — the man who dropped the ‘Bumper Bomb’.”
Still, as before, we clash and fight,
And tear ourselves without the light.
He’ll build anew a peaceful land,
And dwell there far from human hand.

BT Song 1711 – To Set Things Right
1
What more can the Lord above now do,
To set us right, to make us true?
He left His world, came down to earth,
And took our form, shared human birth.
2
He lived with us, like one of ours,
And gave us truth with gentle powers.
But all His words we cast aside,
And all His acts we soon denied.
3
Again we made Him God on high,
And bowed to Him with lowered eye.
We shut Him in a temple’s wall,
And called that worship, once for all.
4
We told Him, “Don’t step out again,”
And kept Him bound in shrine and chain.
He said, “No rites or temple grand—
I only wish to live at hand.”
5
“Just let Me live among you once,
That chance alone would be enough.
I will remain forever God—
But don’t you dare make Me one again!”
6
“What right have you to shape My way?
What need is there for Me to stay?
There’s nothing left for Me to do—
No role remains, not even for you.”
7
So saying, He withdrew from sight,
And said, “Don’t seek Me—day or night.”
You chased away the One who came—
And still you live, just all the same.
8
What now is left? Where will you go
To find the One you scorned below?
The door is gone, the voice is still—
Even the hope has lost its will.
9
Still, as before, we clash and fight,
And tear ourselves without the light.
He’ll build anew a peaceful land,
And dwell there far from human hand.
10
He’ll never form mankind again—
Not even once, by slip or pain.
This one last act remains to do:
Undo the wrong He once lived through.

Due to rain I cannot go for evening walk. Due to backpain I cannot walk in the veranda also. So I sat in the stone bench immersing in the silence around me. But a war was going within me when I was thinking about the way we are killing each other both in War and Peace. Then I said to me, ‘What else even God could do’? The result is this poem which continue to flow in my mind which I immediately wrote.
Avatara1 is descent “Coming down’. But this coming down is not for us to worship God by constructing structures for him but allow Him or Her to uplift us to the IMAGE in which we were created as all theistic religions claim. Of course there is no unanimity among them about what this IMAGE is and HOW it is restored various. But not allowing Him or Her to do the job for which we created even this concept of ‘Avtara’ we threw Him or Her away merely to worship an empty structure of course keeping various symbols in them. So now there is only thing that He or She could do—never create again human begins once we destroy ourself completely. This is what He or She has to do or could do.
…Avataara is derived from ava-tr, meaning to come down, descend. The avataara then is a descent–not some spatial coming-down, for the deity is omnipresent–from the transcendent to the empirical level…
The being which descends is the avataarin (masculine) or avataarinii (feminine); avataara means both the form of the descent and the individual that the avataarin/-inii has descended as. The personality of the avataara then may not be identical to the personality of the one who descends…. Julius Lipner, HINDUS Their Religious Beliefs and Practices, Routledge, London 1994. p. 312
