DNA of Donald

Donald inherits a theological DNA which believes that God has mandated His people to “go and occupy a land flowing with milk and honey” — but only by destruction, displacement, and death of the natives. This DNA never knew the meaning of assimilation and integration. Unlike India, which always welcomed and integrated whoever came — whether for trade, war, or survival — America was born on conquest. The native people who lived peacefully with nature and environment were driven out in the name of this so-called divine mission.

So it is no surprise that Donald, true to this DNA, seeks to occupy not only lands but economies — disturbing and destroying them with policies dressed in White Supremacy.

India, by contrast, has darshan, not theology. Our vision has always been Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family. Yes, we too have faced invasions, occupations, and religious or cultural pressures. But our civilizational DNA, cultivated over thousands of years, still carries the same vision of unity in diversity.

Donald’s DNA, however, knows only how to make “my family, my community, my nation” strong — even if it means others must perish. It forgets its own scripture’s warning: “Those who draw the sword will perish by the sword.” It never knew the simple wisdom of “live and let live.” That is why, when asked about Western civilization, Mahatma Gandhi quipped, “That would be a great idea.” He had already seen what happens when conquest is mistaken for civilization.

And let us not be fooled by their claim to have gifted the world “democracy.” Democracies of many kinds existed long before America — even in India, where in Tamil Nadu villagers once voted through Kuda Oolai (dropping palm leaves in a pot to elect leaders). Similar practices existed in other parts of India, and even among the Vikings. What America has is not an original invention but an adaptation of borrowed traditions, reshaped for its own survival. And today, “democracy” is a word that even China and Russia use — each giving it their own meaning. America’s democracy too is still struggling — just look at how long it took to give civil rights to Black Americans, and even today the struggle is not over.

So, when we speak of Donald’s DNA of Death, Destruction, Displacement, and Disturbance, it is not an exaggeration. It is visible both in how America treats the world and how Donald treats his own nation. After all, what else can we expect from a country that once dropped weapons of mass destruction on Japan, and today continues to fuel its GDP by manufacturing newer and deadlier weapons?

But unlike Donald, we Indians do not answer violence with violence. Our civilizational DNA resists evil with resilience. We will continue with Satyagraha — not to preach, but to let others learn from us. For our national slogan is clear: Satyameva Jayate — Truth Alone Triumphs. Not Trumphalism. Not Trumpalism.
