Caught Between Sapling and Seed

When someone without any real political background suddenly reaches the highest office of a country, confusion itself slowly becomes national policy. Without understanding domestic policy, foreign policy, diplomacy, history, restraint, or sometimes even basic geography, every issue gradually transforms into spectacle. Donald became one of the finest modern examples of this phenomenon, carrying not only himself but occasionally the entire image of America into unnecessary comedy.

Now the same confusion has entered gardening.

Without understanding the difference between a seed, a sapling, and a cutting, Donald has somehow managed to trap not only himself, but also American foreign policy between horticulture, espionage, diplomacy, and national security paranoia.

Donald reportedly demanded from Xi not merely a rose, but the full democratic right to grow future roses independently from seeds. Unfortunately, nobody informed him that roses are not like instant noodles, election slogans, real-estate branding, or fast-food franchises.

Botanists patiently explained that rose seeds are highly unpredictable. First they hide inside rose hips, then demand cold treatment, careful germination, patience, discipline, and sometimes years of waiting. Even after all that, the new rose may bloom in a completely different color and refuse entirely to resemble its parent plant, which Donald admired demanded the same for him.

Political analysts immediately observed:

“Exactly like international diplomacy.”

Seeing Donald’s growing impatience, Xi calmly suggested:

“Why not take saplings or cuttings instead? Faster growth. Reliable results.”

But within minutes, intelligence agencies reportedly issued an urgent warning:

“Be careful. Those saplings may contain microscopic espionage chips capable of transmitting sensitive gardening data directly to Beijing.”

Now Donald stands completely trapped between the sapling and the seed.

If he accepts seeds, he must wait years wondering whether the rose will bloom red, white, yellow, capitalist, socialist, nationalist, or completely independent.

If he accepts saplings, security agencies may accuse the plant itself of spying on the White House tulips and transmitting classified fertilizer information overseas.

If he listens to retired generals, both countries should forget roses entirely and simply exchange tea leaves because, “even if they spy, at least everybody gets tea.”

As the debate escalated, botanists, diplomats, economists, oil experts, security agencies, retired generals, media anchors, and political consultants all became trapped in what historians may later describe as the world’s first geopolitical crisis caused entirely by gardening advice.

Meanwhile, ordinary gardeners quietly continued watering their plants, wondering how a simple rose became a matter of international security.

Some observers concluded that this is what happens when someone tries to manage global diplomacy without first learning the difference between gardening and grabbing.

Others suspected the issue was never really about gardening at all.

The deeper problem, they argued, may be Donald’s irresistible attraction toward anything that appears beautiful, profitable, strategically useful, mineral-rich, oil-rich, commercially valuable, or shining brightly under international lighting — whether flower, land, mountain, canal, oil field, rare earth minerals, or occasionally even another country’s territory.

At this rate, some nervous observers in Nepal may soon request their government never to invite Donald near the Himalayas at all. Otherwise, one day he may suddenly announce:

“For the safety of America, global stability, and world peace, Mount Everest should ideally be relocated somewhere closer to Texas.”

And if Nepal politely refuses, Washington may begin discussing whether Nepal should become the 51st state of America, replacing Canada in the waiting room of geopolitical confusion.

Television experts would then spend three continuous weeks debating whether Everest should be transported with or without glaciers, while economists calculate the impact of Himalayan relocation on global tourism and fertilizer prices.

Meanwhile, spiritual circles across the Himalayas may face an even deeper concern — that Shiva himself could lose his ancient Himalayan abode in Kailasa and be forced into an unexpected diplomatic housing arrangement somewhere in America, perhaps sharing symbolic space with Jesus under a newly announced program of “interfaith strategic partnership for world peace.”

At that point, even the gods may quietly request visas before entering their own mountains.

Now even God seems caught helplessly between the sapling and the seed, silently watching humanity transform flower pots, mountain ranges, and diplomacy itself into geopolitical theatre.

One elderly monk quietly summarized the entire crisis:

“The problem began when humanity stopped admiring flowers and started trying to own the entire garden.”
