BT Song 1569

BT Song 1569

Both God and mother have several similarities.  God remains invisible and Mother remains visible showing what God would do physically if He ever lived with His physical presence amidst us.  There is no other relationship like a MOTHER on this earth.  Similarly for a bhakta her chosen deity [ishta devata] is all sufficient for her.  As mother cannot be compared with any other human relationship so be with the Ishta devata.  Therefore whatever they both do to their child is the best way to enjoy this life on this earth.

BT Song 1569

BT Song 1569 This is enough

Whether you bestow measuring

That is enough for me

But you rejoice only in

Bestowing abundantly

Whether you give in measuring

Or give in abundance

The joy of your bhakta

Is the only target for you

If her child rejoice

The mother also rejoices

If the child cries

The mother will be panicked

As you also show love

Like that of a mother

No other will be

There for a bhakta

Moher won’t give

Everything that a child demands

If the child refuse to ask anything

She will voluntarily give [knowing its need]

Who else will be

Like a mother

Who always keep

The interest of the child’s welfare

Similarly, you also

In order to keep my welfare

And to cultivate

My character

Will remain diligent

In deciding which

And how and when

To bestow to me

Therefore, on this earth

Both God and mother

Keeping the welfare of the

Child and bhakta

What they both do

Nobody understands

Definitely not

Both a bhakta and child

Even if they cannot

Understand them

Who else will take care of them

On this earth other than they

Therefore, I also

Will live each day in you

With contentment in

Whichever you might bestow
