The Lord gave the life I preferred, to live alone as a recluse and helping me to serve my mother. But instead of thanking and praising Him as he returned back to me the Lost Paradise, I sit and always lament as cannot spend much time to praise him. However the Lord accepts all forms of worship, He has no other option but to accept even my laments as praises.

In general people hate loneliness. But as a recluse I like it more as it gives my personal time not only with me but also with the Lord. Though love in separation is painful but as it gives the opportunity to constantly think about the separation and long for the reunion, one way like Dvyesha bhakti [bhakti of hate] this viraha bhakti is also a blessing in disguise. But any separation done by the Lord is not acceptable to any bhakta. She can get estranged with some sulling [utal in Tamil] and keep away from Him, but if He keeps away from His beloved that is not acceptable to a bhakta.

God never sends trials more than what a bhakta can face. If one door is closed He will open many doors to escape from suffering and pain. But the greatest strength which bhakti gives is that whether I worship Him or sit and lament He is the final refuge for me. So whether He sends trials or shows ways to escape finally it is His prerogative and for me to accept His will is my responsibility. But the carnal nature will often doubt and question the Lord. However he refineed the iron by putting it on fire, still as it will get rust on it, this carnal nature will always drag us down. But the struggle between spirit and flesh is the reality in bhakti and the only solace is that everything works only for good for those who love the Lord.

I became very tired both in body and mind. So after reading Muktiveda, unable to do anything, I sat quietly. Then I thought about certain challenges that I face at present. I am not going to repeat them here as there is no need for it. But after I also realized that what if all these struggles were gone? Then what kind of life would I live? Can we live without any struggle in life? Then I realized that struggles are one way a blessing in disguise from God. Without any struggle life will become completely boring. In fact the way God resolves the struggles ends up giving immense peace not only within us but with others. So as I was reflecting on this I wrote this poem. But it took more than twenty minutes to write this song as I have to hunt for proper (Tamil) words to express my thoughts.
