BT Song 14

This song was also written in Gonda in 1986.  But I don’t know the date. But considering the nature of this song, this could be written after the previous (Song 13) one.

1986-ல் கோண்டாவில் இருக்கும்போது எழுதிய பாடல்:

14.                                        ஏன் பாடுகிறேன்

என்வாழ்வில் நான்பெற்ற ஏராள நன்மைகள் எண்ணியே பாடுகிறேன்

ஏழை என் ஆன்மாவை இரட்சித்தான் முக்தேசன் எண்ணியே பாடுகின்றேன்

சோதனை நேரத்தில் சோர்ந்தே நான் வீழாமல் தாங்கினான் பாடுகின்றேன்

துன்பங்கள் தொடர்ந்தென்னைத் தாக்கிய போதிலும் பெலன் தந்தான் பாடுகின்றேன்

ஆவியின் அச்சாரம் அன்பாய் எனக்கீந்து ஆட்கொண்டான் பாடுகின்றேன்

அவனியில் புதுவாழ்வு ஆன்மீக மறுவாழ்வு அருளினான் பாடுகின்றேன்

அழிந்திடும் மாந்தர்க்கு அவன் அன்பைக் கூறிட அழைத்தான் நான் பாடுகின்றேன்

அன்போடும் நாள்தோறும் கிருபையால் வழிநடத்தும் அவன் புகழ் பாடுகின்றேன்

Why I sing

I sing counting the many fold blessings that I received

Lord Muktesan saved this poor man, therefore I sing

He upheld me not letting me down in the time to trials and temptation therefore I sing

He gave strength even though difficulties continue to attack me, therefore I sing

He redeemed me by giving the seal of His Spirit, therefore I sing

He gave new life and new spirituality therefore I sing

He called me to share His love to the perishing people, therefore I sing

I sing His glory every day as He leads me with His love.
