This question I have had with me for a long time: If God is the one who controls my life and each thought and words only He gives, then anything that I do is according to His will.  Even those things which go against His will—which God allows me to do to teach some good lessons in life.  Of course, no theology or philosophy can give a final verdict to this debate as philosophy fails where faith begins.

1571 யார் சித்தம்

“எதிலும் ஒரு வித

நன்மை இருக்கும்

இறைவன் சித்தமாய்

எதுவும் நடந்தால்

இடையில் உன் சித்தம்

தலையீடு செய்ய

நடப்பது உனது

பொறுப்பாய் மாறும்”

என்று பலரும்

கூறும் போது

என்னுள் வந்தது

கேள்வி ஒன்று

“எங்கே தனியொரு

சித்தம் இருக்கு

எல்லாம் அவனது

செயலாகும் போது

என் சித்தம் கூட

அவன் சித்தம் ஆக

எப்படி பொறுப்பை

நானும் ஏற்பது

விருப்பம் போல

எதையும் செய்ய

எப்போ இறைவன்

என்னை விட்டான்

விருப்பமும் அவனே

தந்திட்ட பின்னே

செயலும் அவனே

செய்திட வைத்தான்

எமது நிலைமை

இப்படி இருக்க

எவர்சித்தம் எதுவென

எவரே சொல்வார்

அவன் சித்தம் என் சித்தம்

தனித்தனியாக

எவர் தான் எனக்கு

பிரித்து கொடுப்பார்

இதற்கு பதிலும்

என்னிடம் இல்லை

என் சித்தம் என்று

ஏதும் இல்லை

இதற்கும் விடையும்

அவனே தரட்டும்

என்ற பொறுப்பை

அவனிடம் விட்டு

இதிலுலே உள்ள

நன்மையை நானும்

காண்பது ஒன்றே

அவனது சித்தம்

இந்த பதிலும்

அவனே தந்தான்”

என்று கூறி

நானும் முடித்தேன்.

There will

some benefit

If things go

as per His will

If your will

Interferes in it

Then the consequence

Would be yours’

When many

Said this to me

Then a question

Came within me:

‘Where I have a

Separate will

When every action of mine

Belong to Him

When my will also

Becomes His will

How can I accept

Any responsibility [for my action]

When did God

Give the freedom

For me to do things

As per my preferences

Once the desire was

Given by Him

Then He alone

Made me to act accordingly

When my situation

Is like this

Who can tell

Whose will belong to whom?

Who will separate

My will from

God’s will

And show it to me?

I don’t have any

Answer for this question

I don’t have

My own will

Thinking that

Let Him give the

Answer to this question also

And giving the responsibility to Him

Only seeing even

The benefit in this

Is only His will

For me at present

He alone gave

This answer also’
