BT Song 496
As my joyful mood continued even in the night after my regular walk, before retiring to be I said to the Lord, ‘this is enough for me and I don’t need anything further’. Though I never lack His grace and presence in my life, I will never say that ‘enough’ for this kind of rare bliss and will rejoice to have more and more for the time that I spend with Him. Only those who undergo similar experience alone will understand what I am undergoing in this sadhana.
BT Song 496

BT Song 496 It is enough
It is enough if I remain like this
And enough if I worship your Holy feet
Though both body and mind become tired
It is enough if I live thinking about you
It is enough if you bestow love and grace
Along with it your relationship is enough
Though I dwell in bhakti and worship you
It is enough if I realize the greatness of mukti
It is enough if you have mercy upon me
And it is enough if you dwell within me
Though I have many faults
It is enough if you give me the right worship you
Enough is to bow at your feet
Enough is the greatness to live as your bhakta
Enough is the joy of singing and praising you
Enough is the punya (merit) of reaching your feet
Though I say enough and enough
And I never had a condition of lacking anything
When you bestow more and more
If I live in you again, that is enough for me

BT Song 497
Though our physical needs demand more and more from the Lord, yet when we realize that He knows what to give according to our need and when, then some kind of solace occupies our mind.

BT Song 497 Should receive when He gives
When you give, I should receive
Whether it is good or bad, whatever might be it?
When I receive, I should think about you
And I should think that it is only for my good
A mother knows the need of her baby
And she will sacrifice herself in serving it
There is none who can take care of a baby [like a mother]
Which does not understand good or bad
More than a mother
When you redeemed me by your grace
There is none other than you
Who can take care of me who does not know good or bad?
Who can do good to this mean one?
Who does not know to analyse [right or wrong]
Which one is good or bad for my life?
Though thousands of desires arise in my heart
As long there is a body
There will be always some need for it
But I live unable to give up my longing for them
And this is the reality in life
Therefore, knowing what is my requirement
And when it should be provided
And whichever it might be
You should give a heart to receive it alone

BT Song 498
As I was recalling my meditation on Psalm one, I wrote this song. Though God can plant us on the river side, unless the river itself has its origin in the Lord to have running water the whole year, it cannot sustain the trees on its sides. Though in this metaphor all the bhaktas are like the tree, for me we should take the river also seriously. Unless we continue to draw our nourishment from the Word of God, which is the fountain head for our survival, merely planted on the river side alone cannot sustain us for long.
BT Song 498

BT Song 498 A tree on the river sided
Living like a tree on the bank of a river
And giving only goodness as the yield
In time I should give fruit
And you should do only that to me
Running away when I see evil doers
And keeping away from the adharmies (unrighteous) with much fear
And having fear about those who are doing atrocities
And never going in the path of sin
Keeping interest in your Veda (word of God)
And deeply meditating about on it
And living my life based on it
I should have the blessed opportunity to worship you
Having interest in the fellowship of true bhaktas
And joining with them
And to live like a tree which leaves never weather
You should bestow your grace to me
Though you planted me on the river side
Water should run every day in that river
If its springs from you which never dries
It will always become a flourishing river.

BT Song 499
As I was doing my regular walk after 11.30 I began to pray. That time I said, ‘why should I tell you as you already know everything’. Anyhow I have done my walking and talking. Then when I resumed my regular reading, the same line echoed in my mind. That time I recalled a famous Tamil bhakti song in which the author says, ‘what should I do to call you so that you will come and lord over me’. But I said I need not tell anything to Him except that to remind Him about my nature alone. As inspiration came, I wrote this song within five minutes.
If one reads this poem superficially, she can see some contradiction. I say that I have done nothing without His knowledge. At the same time, I have done several things without informing due to my selfishness. Then as He knows everything I need not call and tell Him. But I have to call Him to tell that as He already knew about me, I need not call Him again to tell about it. But this kind of contradiction is part of my bhakti which never tries to rationalize my thoughts, particularly when I write poems. Poems and some articles (as brain storms) are more idealistic than realistic or practical.
BT Song 499

BT Song 499 I can only tell this
What can I tell you?
So that you can have mercy upon me
Why should tell it even to you
As you already knew about it
I don’t have anything
To hide it from you
And there is no need
For me even to hide from you
Without your knowledge
I have never done anything
I have never done anything
Without asking you
Though I know that
What I am doing is not correct
Due to selfishness
I never asked your permission previously
Finally, as my own heart
Began to accuse me
I took refuge at your feet
With a guilty conscience
Though I tried to do something
Without informing you
I know that
You already knew about it
As everything that I have done failed
As I have done them as per my own will
Knowing that it is your will (that it should fail)
I came again to you
Therefore, there is no need
For me to call you again
And now I came again to you
To tell only this to you

BT Song 500
Another song to sing and praise Him thinking what He has done to us and the reality that we cannot pay Him back by any means except worshiping Him and proclaiming what He has done to us.
BT Song 500
BT Song 500 Let us celebrate
Let us sing and praise Him
Let us celebrate by composing beautiful tunes
Let us think about the greatness of bhakti
And let us worship His feet always
Let us proclaim to all the eight corners
And blow the horns and shout
He came down seeking the simple one
And let us tell this to everyone
He came only to do good to us
He gave Himself to redeem us
We understood this truth
And we proclaimed this to the world
He will come listening to our requests
And will bestow all that we ask
Once we go and beg Him
He will remove all our troubles
He won’t accept our tears
And He cannot bear if we become sorrowful
As He came only to protect us
He cannot tolerate if we are troubled
As He has done so much to us
Can we repay to Him by any means
Let us realize this each day
And worship that noble one always
