I don’t know the reason. But even from my young age when I began to search for spiritual truths, I was not interested in going to heaven or feared about any so-called hell. Even I was not very enthusiastic about a kind of Mukti which we might get after our death. For me the ‘mukti’ viz., deliverance should be experienced while living in this very body. All the arguments about going to heaven or being tormented in some hell look childish to me. Like the saying that ‘one man’s fetish is another man’s god’, one person’s heaven could be another person’s hell. So I was never interested or wasted my time arguing or proving it. I am happy that for me the mukti already begins in this body which I experience is the reality and I am thankful to the Lord. I experience that mukti now but I don’t understand about the Further Shore. So there is no need for me to do further research or share that with others.

நல்லவேளை நான் புரியேனே
நரகமோ-சொர்கமோ அறியேனே
நன்மையும்-தீமையும் உள்ள வரை
அவற்றின் தன்மையை உணர்ந்தேனே

Fortunately I don’t know
Whether it is hell or heaven, I don’t know
As long there is good and evil
I understood their nature
What does it matter where we go after our death?
Once this life on earth itself becomes a hell
If we don’t have some good here in this life
What is the use of having a heaven after our death?
Those who know the answer to this question alone
Can come to any conclusion in this
Until they give that answer
Others will only argue
Those who found the answer
Are searching for the words to utter it
Though they can share what they know with their own words
Others won’t accept it
One person’s heaven becomes another person’s hell
As this become the reality
However it is uttered
Others explanation will remain unclear
As I understood this alone

I always feel that I am very much blessed by the Lord in so many ways. He sends the right kind of people at the right time only to bless me even in disguise. Those whom I think are my critics or faultfinders are also a blessing in disguise from God. I don’t know the reason for giving this special blessing only to me. And others too can get it, provided if they continue to ask and recognize it when He bestows it.

The freedom that I enjoy with the Lord—to rebuke, warn, to crack jokes and to demand is unique one in my bhakti. I expect Him to understand me, my nature, and my limitations and act accordingly. This song reflects such freedom that I enjoy with Him. When I demand He has to give without giving some excuse—even that could be a ‘no’.

What happened to you?
And why do you have this contention with me?

Possible for human beings
But it is not possible for you
Who created us; do I need to tell this to you?

Is it a calculation of time for human beings?

I never feel hesitant to share why Muktinath is my guru and how he found me and accepted me is a privilege to share. Of course I won’t artificially create any situation to share my journey in the Lord. But when opportunity comes, I won’t hesitate whoever it might be.

Let anyone talk whatever they want
I won’t be afraid about them
I have no hesitation to share
What He has done to me
What God has done to me?
Nobody can understand; this is the only truth
And they will be surprised to know

The one who has redemption as His nature
Came among us to seek and redeem us
Yet as I never understood this
In vain I searched it in various places
Realizing that there is no more strength
I get struck in one place
And realizing that this is proper time
He came seeking after me on His own
Not knowing who He is
I cried by sharing my problem with Him
And as my burden is gone that time, experiencing it
I asked Him “Who are You”?
“I am the guru whom you are searching so far

I surrendered at His feet as my only refuge
Why should I feel shy to share this?
And why should afraid about others unnecessarily
To accept or reject is their right

The simplicity of the gospel is that God came down to our level. The way it is demonstrated through the life of the Lord is a unique event in history. The way He went to the other extreme of seeking to serve us than receive any seva from us is a new concept for me about God. This simplicity appeals to me more than any other intellectual understanding about God and the Lord.

Won’t He come if we request to come?
Once He came, won’t He give Himself for us?
Won’t He mingle with the poor and simple one?
And won’t He look unto our emptiness (poverty)
He will wait for our call to come unto us
And He will tie His rob to serve us
Just if He hears our voice He will rush immediately
And will listen to our words when we complaint about our needs
He Came seeking only to serve us
And He washed even the feet of His disciples
He ate and drank in the sinners’ houses
And He gave new life to the wayward women by redeeming her
Though we may not worship Him recognizing Him as God
And won’t uplift Him as our Lord
And wont’ glorify Him the Eternal one
If we realize Him as the SIMPLE one, then it is enough
This simplicity is enough for me
What else I required to know God
He came and dwell within me and that is enough
And I found God in Him
