When I seek answers to certain current issues and problems from others and within myself, God, remaining patient, refuses to interfere. When nothing works, She then provides the apt answers to my questions and needs. Though I have experienced this several times in life, I forget and repeat the same mistake. God won’t come and give answers directly but will use others to convey them. However, when a particular answer doesn’t work, God knows how to provide it by other means, and She always does this.

For me, prayer is simple communication with the Lord—uttered or unuttered. A deep sigh, a gentle smile, and the falling of a drop of tears are prayers for me. While I believe in taking time to pray to God, I never limit prayer to that activity alone. Even writing a poem is a form of prayer for me. As I got another opportunity to pour out my heart, I wrote this song as my prayer to the Lord.
