BT Songs 1691 to 1695

BT Song 1691

This morning, I was reflecting on several inconsistencies, contradictions, and even mistakes in my poems and other writings. What I had said in the past now seems irrelevant. As knowledge increases, our understanding of everything changes. Given this reality, finding contradictions in one’s thoughts and writings is quite natural.

No one can remain stagnant in the early stages of understanding. In fact, contradictions can even be a sign of growth, not necessarily a sign of conflict or a shift away from our core ideology. While we may hold to a fundamental ideology as the guiding principle of life, we must remain flexible in how we express it, depending on the demands of the time.

Unless we contextualize our ideology to fit the specific situation, we risk getting stuck in rigid dogmatism. But such flexibility should not be seen as a wavering mind or a compromise on our core beliefs. At the same time, if our fundamental ideology needs to be revisited—or even abandoned—it should not be viewed as mere compromise for the sake of survival.

The complex nature of human thought and need often demands change, and one should not hesitate in the name of rigid belief. However, we must also be cautious about altering our views or ideology based solely on others’ opinions. While we should pay attention to different views and receive them with a positive attitude to evaluate our own stance, we must press forward in life—neither stuck in rigid dogmatism nor swayed by every passing opinion.

As I was reflecting on these thoughts, I wrote this song.

BT Song 1691 It became clear

The words I use
Even if they were mine,
The thoughts I think—
Let them always be Yours. 1

If there is any flaw
In the thoughts I express,
I too will tell
Who is the cause. 2

If there are errors
In the words I write,
They can be corrected
In many different ways. 3

But if a flaw
Lies in the thought,
Then how can I fix it?
You must tell me that. 4

A flaw in You—
If one even exists,
There is absolutely
No chance at all. 5

That is exactly
What the Scripture says;
So tell me then—
What caused this flaw? 6

Or if even this
Is counted as an error,
Then tell me clearly—
Who must correct it? 7

“Who was it that saw
A flaw in the thought?”—
That was the question
That then arose. 8

Searching for
An answer to it,
Then I realized:
Ii does not exist. 9

“Never respond
To another’s thought”—
Even this idea—
You Yourself said. 10

Then clarity came
To rest within me;
So now I write—
Your thought alone. 11

BT Song 1692

We cannot avoid the dark nights of the soul—those moments when we deeply feel the absence of God’s presence. Yet, in truth, He is never absent, nor do we ever truly lose Him, for we are one with Him. Still, this feeling of missing His presence continues to arise.

As I reflected on this, I asked the Lord, “Where did You go when I was searching for You? Did You leave to seek the one lost sheep?” Then I thought, “If I am always with Him, why would He need to go away to search for me?” But soon I realized: if He dwells within me, why should I even feel as though He is missing?

Yet, both He and I seem to play out this search—perhaps because it is a part of our human nature and an unavoidable experience in the path of bhakti.

BT Song 1692 – Who Seek What

I know nothing else,
I understand nothing else,
But to seek the holy feet
Of the Divine alone. 1

Even when I
Came in search,
Where were those holy feet
That I sought so much? 2

Was it because I wandered
Searching what was lost,
Or because I too
Drifted without direction? 3

I came searching—
You know that well.
So now help me
Stop this restless search. 4

When I was in need,
I came to seek You.
You will surely
Understand that too. 5

What need could You
Possibly have of me?
Where would You go,
Leaving me behind? 6

Did You wander off
Searching for something lost?
Or did I come
Looking for what I’d lost? 7

To lose or to misplace—
This is not some golden treasure.
So there’s no real need
To keep searching anymore. 8

Once we are merged
Into each other fully,
Who is left to lose,
And who remains to search? 9

Yet knowingly, both of us
Still go through these motions,
Calling and searching—
Though there’s no more need. 10

BT Song 1693

When I wrote this song, I was honestly struggling with the silence I sometimes feel from God. Even though I know He is always there, His answers don’t always come when or how I expect. It’s a raw feeling of longing mixed with confusion — wanting to understand why some prayers seem unanswered or delayed. Yet, through it all, I recognize His constant presence and mercy. This song is my way of expressing that tension between faith and doubt, hope and unanswered questions. It’s about learning to trust God even when His silence feels heavy.

BT Song 1693 There is a cause

I came in search
Of Your holy feet.
O Lord, I sought
Only Your grace. 1

When heavy darkness
Fell upon my mind,
I stood pleading,
Asking You to guard me. 2

I didn’t know
Any reason behind it,
But I realized—
There’s no room for worry. 3

Yet something within me
Told me there’s a cause.
And so I came
To share it with You. 4

You fulfilled completely
All of my needs.
You came seeking me,
And lovingly took me back. 5

You stayed with me
Day after day,
And generously gave
Your grace without end. 6

As though that weren’t enough,
You gave me a life
That mirrored the joy
Within my heart. 7

You placed me gently
In Nature’s lap,
And showed me such
Endless compassion. 8

You then asked me:
“What more do you need?”
With such tenderness,
You waited for my answer. 9

When I asked
Only for that one thing,
Why did You deny it
And withhold Your gift? 10

When I asked why,
You said nothing—
And no matter how I tried,
You brushed it aside. 11

“Why should you worry?”
You said and laughed,
As though my burden
Were a joke to You. 12

But this alone
Has now become a weight.
Please lift it off—
Lift it right now! 13

I’ve grown weary
Carrying this pain.
I bow down again
And beg You alone. 14

If You dismiss it
As a worn-out refrain,
And toss it away,
What can I do? 15

BT Song 1694

I wrote this song reflecting on the joy of the Resurrection — the journey from loss to new life. It speaks of how, even when I felt lost and searching, God was never far away. Like the Resurrection, after the pain and seeming absence, He returns renewed and full of grace. This song is about embracing that resurrection joy—the peace that comes when I realize His presence is constant, and life with Him is truly renewed every day. It’s not merely a one-time event in history, but something that happens every time I feel His absence, search with anxiety, and then rejoice when I find Him dwelling within me.

BT Song 1694 celebrate This great event

When I searched for You,
You were nowhere seen.
When I longed for You,
You did not come. 1

But once You came,
You stayed with me—
Forever now,
You live within me. 2

Remembering often
That coming of Yours,
I will daily return,
To bow at Your feet. 3

When my state collapsed
And form dissolved,
To protect me,
You gave Yourself. 4

After hanging
On the tree and dying,
You rose from the grave
And came back again. 5

That act long ago
Still feels new—
Even now,
It happens within me. 6

In that awareness,
In that bond,
I’ll live forever—
Well-joined with You. 7

The search that followed
Faded away.
Now this daily life
Became ours. 8

Having come within,
I now live with You—
This very life
Became the truth. 9

Remembering that,
Rejoicing in You,
I celebrate
This great event. 10

BT Song 1695

As I was revising a paper on Science and Faith, several questions arose in my mind. That night, after my regular readings, I began to meditate on the idea of God asking questions, just as we humans do—and how, when we ask questions, we often expect answers. Of course, many scriptures show God questioning humans. But I realized there’s a difference: our questions often challenge God to respond or seek reasons, while God’s questions sometimes challenge our very right to ask or even seem to be questions without clear answers.

Inspired by this reflection, I wrote this song. It became a conversation about struggles, doubts, and the tension between knowing and questioning. It captures those moments when I feel unheard or stuck, yet still feel the need to keep asking and seeking clarity. This song reminds me that faith is not about having all the answers but staying engaged honestly in the journey—even when that means wrestling with tough questions.

BT Song 1695 – Ask Question

You say things,
But I don’t listen.
When I try to speak,
You never accept it. 1

This isn’t something new,
It’s not just happening now.
We’ve never been able
To come to an end. 2

Let it fall apart—

What else can we do?
This will go on…
What can we do? 3

Which side is right?
That’s no longer the question—
That’s not even
What matters to us now. 4

My fault—yes,
I see that clearly.
Your side’s justice—
That too, I understand. 5

Still, when the question
Comes up again,
Who is going to
Give a real answer? 6

You too know
What the answer is.
My question is clear—
Even to you. 7

But that same thing
Became a burden,
And the way to remove it
Disappeared. 8

Even so, for this,
There is a way.
What else
Could replace it? 9

If the question is yours,
Let the answer be mine.
If we just swap places,
A new way may emerge. 10

If you agree,
Then say it aloud.
I’ll come with the answer—
You ask the question. 11

BT Song 1691

BT Song 1692
