BT Song 1756
As I was heating my dinner, without any clear reason, the first line of this song echoed in my mind. I am not even sure what kind of thought was moving within me at that moment. Yet, as I sat down to eat, the words began to flow on their own.
So I quickly recorded the song on my mobile before it slipped away. In that flow, one conviction stood out strongly within me: God has no excuse or escape. He must accept His responsibility and share in what we call our mistakes.
BT Song 1756 –

BT Song 1756 – No Chance
God has forgotten
His own duty—
And thus has come
This condition before us. 1
Yet He alone
Is not the cause;
Our share too
We cannot deny. 2
However much
Our part may be,
Still the question—
Who bears more responsibility? 3
If an answer
Is given to this,
Only then the truth
Will stand revealed. 4
Whatever wrong
A child may do,
The greater share
Still lies with the parent. 5
If this justice
Holds for all,
How can He alone
Claim exception? 6
If the parent’s duty
Is brushed aside,
Where then for God
Is there any chance? 7
Though responsibility
May be common,
Can everyone truly
Be the same? 8
Likewise, can God
Make such a claim?
Can His responsibility
Have a substitute? 9
Once He is called
The One and only God,
Can He withdraw
And quietly escape? 10
Either accept
Your share of truth,
Or step away
In silent retreat. 11
Tell me first
What suits you best,
Speak to me
With clarity and depth. 12
Then all else
We can discuss—
But for now,
Answer this. 13

BT Song 1757
Living in solitude, I often find myself speaking with the Lord as if I am conversing with another person. That morning, while taking my bath, I was reminded of my mother—how she too would often lament and question God during such quiet moments.
Almost unconsciously, I found myself doing the same. Out of that experience, after my bath, this song emerged. In a way, I felt I was giving God an opportunity to correct what I boldly call His “mistake.”
Now, I wait and watch—how wisely He will respond to this chance and this advice.
BT Song 1757 –

BT Song 1757 – Do Not Let It Slip Away
Why, O God,
Did You err—
Creating me
In vain, it seems? 1
Why indeed
This fault of Yours?
Where did You
Lose Your stronghold? 2
Was it that
You lacked experience?
Or ignored
Another’s counsel? 3
Had You but asked me
Before creating,
This mistake
Would not have been. 4
What is past
Let it be past—
What is done
Is already done. 5
At least now,
Listen to me;
Hear my words
As they arise. 6
If wrong is done,
It must be corrected;
If a fault is made,
Repentance must follow. 7
But what happened
To You, O Lord?
Now the burden
Has become mine. 8
After creating
All that is good,
Tell me why
You created me. 9
Was I made
As a warning sign—
That none should ever
Be like me? 10
In a world
That learns not from others,
Why did You commit
This very mistake? 11
So now at least
Listen to me—
Call me back
Without delay. 12
Then watch
What happens in this world:
All will reform
And live aright. 13
Do not let
This chance slip away;
Do not later
Regret in vain. 14

BT Song 1758
The Bhagavad Gita (3:33) says that no matter how much one tries, one cannot easily go beyond one’s nature (guna), even with maturity and experience. Even the wise continue to act according to their nature.
In that light, statements like “all that is old has passed away, everything has become new” seem more like ideals than lived realities. When I look at myself, I see that many aspects of my nature remain unchanged, despite effort.
So I arrive at a turning point: perhaps it is not I who must change, but God. Otherwise, He must accept me as I am—like something constant, almost like an unchanging creed.
BT Song 1758 –

BT Song 1758 – You Must Change
Unless my nature changes,
Unless my mind is reformed,
To know Your mind—
That will never happen. 1
However I try
To correct and change,
I return again
To my former state. 2
The desire is there,
The effort continues—
Yet the result
Remains the same. 3
Beyond this,
There is nothing more to do—
Even so, I cannot
Bring myself to give up. 4
Though I come
Seeking Your help,
Your heart, it seems,
Still does not soften. 5
So, without
Any real change,
As I am, I will stand
Before You always. 6
And You, without fail,
As always before,
Must accept what I bring
With willing grace. 7
Or if You insist
I must come transformed,
Then that effort—
You must begin. 8
If that change
Begins within You,
Then in me too
It will arise on its own. 9
Until that moment,
With this unchanged mind and nature,
When I come,
You must accept me still. 10

BT Song 1759
God, who knows everything beforehand, gives according to what He sees as our need, always keeping our welfare in mind. Yet, many times, what He considers good or necessary does not feel acceptable to us.
Circumstances change suddenly. While He may be able to adapt instantly, we human beings—conditioned by habit, like machines trained over time—find it difficult to adjust so quickly.
Therefore, it seems that God alone must revise His plan. Even when He does so, it is often neither fully according to His will nor fully according to our need, but somewhere in between—closer to what we can handle.
If He is sovereign to act according to His will, then we too have the right—sometimes even more strongly—to ask not merely for what He gives, but for what we truly need in order to endure and respond to life.
BT Song 1759 –

BT Song 1759 – Show It in Action
I cannot speak,
Nor know how to say—
When within myself
I struggle in silence. 1
If You would know
My heart within,
And sense my need
Without my words—how good! 2
All that I think
To tell You—
When words in me
Are simply not there. 3
You who know
Before I even think—
If You act accordingly,
What loss is Yours? 4
Even my needs—
What they truly are—
You have already
Decided beforehand. 5
Yet as situations
Shift and change,
If You adjust and give—
How wonderful that would be! 6
Knowing that my good alone
Stands always
Before You—
Even then… 7
All that is given
As “good”—
Must it always
Turn out as good? 8
You refuse
To change what You gave;
I refuse
To accept what has come. 9
If both of us
Remain in this tug,
What becomes of me—
Think on that. 10
If You act
For both of us,
That alone
Is always good for You. 11
When I try
To say all this,
And struggle—
Unable to speak… 12
You who know
Before I even think—
Even now, without fail,
Show it in action. 13

BT Song 1760
In this song, I find myself standing before God as though I am settling an account that has long remained unclear. I am not denying Him; rather, I am trying to make sense of this relationship. If He could act with urgency in creating, why does He now seem unhurried when it comes to my life and its struggles?
I notice in myself a quiet insistence. I am not asking for profit or gain—I am only asking that I should not be left carrying a loss that I do not fully understand. If everything began with Him, if the “investment” itself is His, then how does the burden fall on me alone?
As I move through the poem, my tone becomes firmer. I realize that I am not willing to postpone this clarity to some unknown future. I want this account to be settled while I am still living, still aware, still questioning. I do not want answers after everything is over.
In the end, I see that this is not rebellion in me—it is relationship. I am still speaking to Him, still expecting, still engaging. I am asking Him, as I ask myself, to bring the same intensity to resolving life as was shown in creating it.
BT Song 1760

BT Song 1760 – Settle the Account
Because You feel
No urgency,
Does my need
Cease to exist? 1
Even if each account
Is kept rightly,
Between the two
There must be balance. 2
Before creation,
You sensed the need;
Yet in creating,
You rushed ahead. 3
But now, for some reason,
You delay—
And when I ask why,
You refuse to answer. 4
Has restlessness
Touched even You?
Why did You forget
To sit and reflect? 5
Whatever the reason
May truly be,
The account now—
You must present. 6
Profit to You,
Loss to me—
Is such justice
Right for You? 7
I seek no share
In any gain;
Let me simply
Not incur loss. 8
When the investment
Is wholly Yours,
What share have I
In profit or loss? 9
Seeing all this
So clearly laid out,
How is refusal
In any way just? 10
Before the account
Of life is closed,
My account
Must be settled. 11
Delay no more—
Do not prolong;
Offer no reasons
From now on. 12
As in creation
You showed urgency,
Show equal intensity
In closing the account. 13
After life ends
And I return,
Do not argue then
Demanding accounts. 14
