BT Song 571
I never feel exhausted in reading the Word of God every day. I never feel that I even understood the basics of it properly. That is why I strongly feel that the Word of God should be the foundation for my bhakti and fountain to proclaim others about the grace of God.
BT Song 571

BT Song 571 I need the Living Water
Not becoming a sea of salt
Your Living water should flow each day
Not becoming a barren land
You should add fertile to it
When the fresh water flows
The well be filled with water
A well without fountain
Will become dry soon
I become the dry crops
Which is longing for the rain?
Even if get few drops
It is enough to revive me
I understood more of you
Because of the fountain of your word
In order to grow more in you
I keep it as my foundation
As I am redeemed after knowing you
I prayed for the world to be redeemed (similarly)
To do seva for that purpose
I came seeking your grace
For the world also to receive the same blessing
Your words should be rooted in me
Taking from it from every day
I should give others to quench their thirst
Mathigiri, 10-11-16, 2.55 pm.
BT Song 572
Another song based on a beautiful poem of Surdas: Sur 407, pp. 706-07
Madhav, even the utterly worthless
can be embarrassed to ask you for aid;
even though they lack all trace of strength or grandeur,
still they may shrink from your grace.
Grasping for straws? That dead twig can save someone
swept down a river—just reach out a hand—(p.705)
so what to say of someone who has roots on the bank,
and leaves that clan, that love, to thrash about alone?
You, Lord, you’re unconquered, the orphan’s protector,
and I, I’m unlettered, unwise;
but drift to your shore and nothing bad can happen—
there wretched souls drown in you!
Night and day I bear the barbs of ridicule,
and that’s what brings me here to say
as Surdas: Worship the Cowherd’s feet in song.
Who can do that and not arrive?

BT Song 572
572 Reached the shore
I came begging again to you
Those who feel shy to ask will be disqualified
Though they lost everything and become poor
Yet they refuse to come unto you
Those who are washed away in the water
Will cling to a broken log (to be saved)
If they get the root of a tree
Definitely they will hold it and try to reach the shore
As a branch of your grace stopped me
With the help of your mercy, I reached the sore
As I become very tired
You revived my life by providing from the fruit of the tree
I will always sing and praise you
As you gave another lease of life for me
Rejecting the words of the mockers
I will always cling your feet
What else I will lack
Once I come to you with hope
For the one who reached the shore
By grabbing the branch of your grace

BT Song 573
Another big fight with the Lord venting out my anger with him. As usual the anger which I express in Tamil cannot be conveyed in other languages.

BT Song 573 The Director is not correct
Enough is enough please leave me alone
I become tired of struggling a lot
Am I available for you to make me dance?
And to test about your good and bad things
Many are (eagerly) waiting for that
Why you drag me unnecessarily
Once I sit in a corner after becoming crippled
Why you ask me again to stand with the help of a crutch
What is this–not even listening to me properly?
Even if I rebuke, you never let me go
Even if I beg you why you are doing this
And if I become upset, then you punish me
What more can I say about it
How I am going to make you understand
Are you doing it deliberately?
Or pretending that you don’t understand
I agreed to act only one time (scene)
And was willing to do that just for your sake
I came believing that it will be a small role
I requested to complete it at the early
You too agreed for that
Accordingly put me on the stage
Until others come and do their part
You made me to act alone
Then you never turned to my side
Never asked me to complete my act
I have never seen
Such a director anywhere else
I don’t know what even my role is
I don’t know when others will come and act
There is no means for me to come down on my own (from the stage)
There is no one to watch my performance
I am performing all alone
I am doing a monologue
I don’t know why I am even acting
I don’t know when I am going to complete it
Mathigiri, 11-11-16 (12-11-16), 12.15 am
BT Song 574
Another song based on Surdas:
“Purifier of the fallen,” pitier of the piteous,”
guardian of those who have no guard”:
such are the phrases they always use to praise you–
scriptures, universe, gods.
Yet no one has falled further than have I,
no one is more guardless, more piteous.
Why do you not give me deliverance?
Is anyone more crippled than I? (p.707)
…. … …. …
Nothing has ever been said or enacted
in word or in deed or in thought
that you didn’t see occur, says, Sur.
You know it all inside out.

BT Song 574
2.20, Sur 408, p. 707-09
BT Song 574 I won’t keep quiet
Who is the meanest one other than me?
Why I tell this to you
“You are the one who seek and save the sinner
You are the protector for the weak”
Every one said this praising you
There is none equal to you anywhere, they said
There is none like me who has fallen more wretchedly
Yet you have never redeemed me
You never look unto this crippled one
And there is nothing hidden from you
I am fallen in thought and word
But why this much delay to save me oh Charitable one
One time if I called you came running
You rushed to save (many)
I cried several times
But you don’t have mercy upon this sinner
Yet I am not let you go easily
And not going to remain quiet till I receive grace
Mathigiri, 15-11-16, 2.20 pm.
BT Song 575
Another song celebrating the special privilege and special relationship that I enjoy each day with my Lord.
BT Song 575
BT Song 575 What else I require
I am not going to ask
Anything more than this
I won’t ask any
Special privilege
Once I live with you
Becoming your own
What is there?
For me to ask for my need
I am rejoicing
In this relationship
My heart is filled
With the peace that you gave
As your grace upholds me
My body is melting
When I praise you with whole heart
Tears are filling in my eyes
Taking me to
Some kind of noble status
And arranging a condition
Where there is no need to utter anything
Arranging a
Separate path for me
You come along with me
Thinking about my bhakti
This bliss is
Enough for me
When you lord over me
I should submit
Without seeking any other thing
Coming to your feet
Once after giving me
I should live in you
