BT Song 606
Another philosophical confusion not knowing which one is mind and which one is buddhi. I strongly believe that the so-called mind does not even exist. All are the function of our brain. At the same time, I see that there is another faculty within me which does not agree with my own reasoning on various things in which my so-called mind says one thing and my buddhi (intellect) says another. While my mind goes along with senses, feelings, emotion and reality of the body, my buddhi, using all kinds of philosophical reasoning, tries to refute it. Now is this so-called bhuddhi different from the so-called mind? Though sometimes I get some clarity when I take these issues to the Lord, sometimes even my bhakti gets defeated in the tussle between my buddhi and mind. So, till the end I have to live with this tussle and this only I clearly understood–thanks to my buddhi — Oh my God where the solution is.
BT Song 606

BT Song 606 Understood
Let me go as per the guidance of my mind
Or should I listen to my buddhi (intellect)
Or should I abandon both these ways
Should I come to you Oh my Lord?
How many are the questions that come within me
Thinking which one is correct
But my heart says in the end that
All are my own imagination
Is the everyday life mere imagination
And the life that I live is mere dream
If that is merely imaginary dream
Do all these my troubles are mere lies
The needs of the body is not false
The struggle in my mind is not false
The life that I live with my body and mind
Is also not false
This truth is very clear to me
Both the body and mind have accepted it
But the intellect which interfere in between them
Creates unnecessary confusion
I don’t know what I shall do
Which one should I accept?
But when I come to you who know the truth
The confusion has come down a bit
Still there comes some doubt
Often come in that also the clarity that
Finally, there is no answer for this
That one I clearly understand

BT Song 607
One Chinese proverb says that fools talk about people but wise talk about events. But no one can talk about any events without talking about people. But if we human beings are not there, there is no event even for us to think or talk. This is true even in my personal sadhana. When I think and pray about certain events that happen in my life or around me, I cannot avoid thinking about those who are naturally involved in it. How much I try to avoid thinking about them, but only to pray about the event, still my mind naturally goes back to the people without whom that event never happened. Therefore, I have to constantly train my mind to think more about the Lord, His nature, His loving deeds to worship Him meaningfully.
One interesting Indian (Hindu) worldview is about the presence of God in everything. Sometimes karma can take that place according to the event and situation. But as a bhakta having such a background, I cannot keep God away from everything that happens in my life. And I am thankful for God helping me to be born in such a worldview which enhances my bhakti in the Lord.

BT Song 607 I seek a boon
Can I remain not remembering you?
Once you come into my heart can I forget you?
Once I came to this world formed by you
Can I think only about me alone?
I should worship you thinking about you each minute
I should forget myself in your protection
Keeping focused on you away from my wavering thoughts
Oh, my Lord I should always think only about you
When several events are happening (in life)
My thought also (naturally) follows them
And thinking about those who are linked with those events
My thought also increases more about them
As I am caught up in the events of this world
I don’t have time for you amidst them
Yet as you dwell in my heart
It is not easy for me to forget you
Therefore, I come one more time
I uttered my love for you
I sought again this boon
To only think only about you all the time

BT Song 608
We don’t have a private bhakti or a private God. We cannot survive or grow without mutual fellowship. At the same time in our call to serve the Lord we have to recognize that we are called individually by the Lord and we are accountable to Him. So here though we have to work together as a team, we cannot carry other’s burden beyond our limit, particularly when others are not co-operating. Then we have to run our race keeping the goal in front.

BT Song 608 I found my goal
What else can I say to you, tell me?
And lead me each day and every moment
I never went against your commands
This I declare as your slave
In every day race
When I run along with you
You never run leaving me
And you never run on your own
You run shoulder to shoulder
And when need comes you carry me on your shoulder
Once I come down after taking some rest
Then taking me along with you, you run
If I stand and began to think only about me
You warn me and drive me to run
And if I began to complain about others
Then you ask me to shout up my mouth
You ask me to run keeping my goal alone
Till the end
All those who come and join or leave
Is it not my responsibility, you said?
Now I understood this clearly
And Choosing my goal alone
I will run my race wholeheartedly
And I will do my part completely

BT Song 609
As humans born with relatives some responsibilities come along with it. As we live and move with others, we receive more. And due to our ideology and principle we voluntarily accept some other responsibilities. But in the end not understanding our limitations when we commit for everything, then we end up not doing one thing properly. As I realize this, I have only the choice to go and complain about it to the Lord and then do whatever He asks me to do, however I do them with my limitation.
BT Song 609
BT Song 609 My right to complain
When this mad man lament with much confusion
Won’t you have compassion to show mercy upon me?
Though I cry loudly and wail
Won’t you consider having some mercy upon me
How many are the struggles in everyday life
There is much bitterness in life
How much I seek any kind of peace and pleasure
I hate them all as mere Maya
There is struggle both for my body and mind
I have to dance along with relatives and friends
Amidst this when I think about your will
What should I do, give me an answer
I cannot run away denying my responsibility
At the same time cannot carry unnecessary burden
The one which came naturally becomes a burden
What can I say about the one which you added further?
I have to carry whichever you ask me to carry
Even if you add further, I have to accept it
Even if I say ‘no’ you are allowing me to go
And if I ask voluntarily, you are not going to give
I know only to come and complain
Then accept your will silently
I have this right with me
It is better you understand this (at least)
Mathigiri, 21-1-17, 2.50 pm
BT Song 610
We are mere instruments in God’s hand. Once we realize this, if we accept each God given opportunity to be ready for His use, and then we can see the needs of others more clearly than in debating about our importance or role in it.
BT Song 610
BT Song 610 Let us be His instrument
He gave time and strength
And resources further
To do good to few
He redeemed us and gave a life
We don’t need to accomplish great things
And need not earn name and fame
Other’s even need not know about us
It is enough if we do at our best
He knows others’ need
He will to take care of them
If we join Him happily
He will accept our part
Without any constraint and debate
And without having any attraction or repulsion
If we accept the given chance
He will bestow more opportunities
If we think about others’ need
Our world will expand
If we reduced our selfishness
Other’s need become visible to us
Without having any hidden agenda
And doing it without any pride
By becoming an instrument in God’s hand
We will realize this truth and live
