One danger in the life of a single person is that s/he can decide not only his/her agenda but also that of others who want to have some fellowship with him/her. As others cannot easily impose themselves on him/her s/he never realizes his/her limitation in deciding both his/her and other’s agenda in life. But this is not the case with the Lord. Even if I set any agenda for him to have fellowship with him, he will accept it and wait for me.

Singlehood is different from the life of a recluse. A recluse prefers to be alone, reducing both his talk and outside activities to have his own life. For me the life that I like and desire more is to spend more time with the Lord. I always think of myself as a recluse and not a single person. And my prayer to the Lord is to give his company for me to accomplish this choice in life.
