Dialogue With Christians

Preface

In my pilgrimage with the Lord I had several wonderful dialogues with Christians.  Though we never agreed with each other on so many points, yet our common bhakti to the Lord helped us to have mutual respect for each other and helped us to ‘agree to disagree’. Though I had some friction with them because of their negative and wrong approach to Hinduism, yet they remain the ‘unpaid guardian of my atman’ as they helped me to correct several of my wrong understanding of Muktiveda.  Particularly in the area of theology, as a lay man and untrained in theology, without the help and seva of several Theologians I would have never understood theology even on a basic level.  Though I prefer to use ‘Muktinath’ for the Lord and Muktiveda for the Bible, yet I like to retain the words ‘Jesus Christ’; ‘Bible’ and other similar terms as I used in my dialogue with them.

Though there is scope to improve my response to their dialogue in the past—as I read and gathered so much new information, yet mostly I retained my (early) responses as they too reflect my growth in my understanding by bhakti with the Lord.  However, wherever necessary I made few changes and only added new points to clear some of my views.
