Compiling their views
After proper research
They might present them
In book form
Though they might have done
Deep research
And produce many
Evidences for that
What they say
About outsiders
Will always remained
As one way traffic
Therefore whoever
Might say anything
Nothing will become
Complete one
What they told yesterday
Will disappear tomorrow
Along with opinions
Situations also will change each day
As change alone
Is unchangeable one
What they say about others
Will also get changed
Though we move close
And have fellowship with them
When our life won’t change
Like that of others

Secular Song 507
Identity is essential to name anything. To name a place as a grave it needs a dead body. To call a place home some need to live in a house. Similarly to call ourselves as ‘human’ beings we need the character of a human. Though there are several theories going around about giving various explanations to decide who is a human, the minimum is ‘live and let live’ is the best one. But what to say about the terrorists who kill others giving their right to live? So I dedicate this song to all those innocent people killed in terrorism and particularly those who were killed in Sri Lanka on April 18, 2019.

பிணமொன்று இல்லாமல் சமாதி இல்லை

ஆயினும் அதை நாம் மறுக்க முடியாது

தன் போல் பிறரை எண்ணி வாழ்ந்து
தீங்கொன்று மனதிலே செய்யாது இருந்து
பிறர் செய்யக் கூடாது என்று நாம் சொல்வதை

Secular Song 507 Who is human?
Without a dead body there is no grave
Without children there is no parenthood
Without character there is no human being
Without aim there is no life
To become a place as a grave
A dead body is need for that
In the same way for us to remain as human
We too need human nature within us
A roof over a four wall
Won’t become a house
Without character if we live
We won’t have the name as human being
We need a clear identity
For that we need a clear reason for that
Similarly for us to live as human being
There should be character in us
But which one we can call as character
When many give various explanations for that
But we cannot also deny it
Though thousands of explanations are going around
Living thinking others as oneself
Not doing evil in our heart
What we think we should not do for us others
If we don’t do it, then that is called ‘Character’.

Secular Song 508
As my Mami came to stay with us, I gave my room to her and used the hall for me. When she left this morning, as I returned back to my room, I realized how much I missed it. Particularly I would prefer to sit stretching my legs on my cot and pushing the chair back when I read books. When I do my meditation, I do the same. Then naturally that relaxation also gives some inspiration to write poems. Now I understand why mother does not want to go anywhere else in this old age. She not only finds her room comfortable but also the furniture which she uses provides some sense of security. So after completing my reading when I closed my eyes for meditation I said that we rejoice when we get back something which we lost in life. So it is better not to miss a few things which give comfort to your life. Of course which one we should not miss differs person to person as each one has her priority like –health, relationship, honour, wealth etc. But whichever it might be, when we get it back, we really rejoice in it.

இழந்ததைப் பெறும்போது
எத்தனை ஆனந்தம்

How we rejoice
When we get back which we lost

But we should know

There will be several opinions
And we should
Accept this also
Which one we
Might not get back
Once we
Have I lost it?
Realizing this
And thinking properly
We should
Try to guard it
Therefore others
Not telling this
And then we
Stop not doing it
Knowing the pain
Of the loss which we already had
We should know
The lesson which our experience taught us

We are often involved in some activities just to show how liberal or generous we are. When it leads to unnecessary complication, unable to leave at the same time unable to involve further we get trapped. In this those who are with us suffer more than us. And to whom we do such generous service often takes advantage of our weakness. For many they cannot easily get rid of this nature even after getting pounded repeatedly. The only good thing about it is that others around us can learn good lessons from such activities and spare themselves from them.

Without any use of anyone
And without having any connection to us
Not understanding on our own

Finally, we become
A burden to those who live with us
As we always live
