Song 60

Generally I do many things in hurry.  Several times I noticed that in the name of busyness or saving time, as I do things in hurry, both time and work get spoiled.  As I experienced again this, I wrote this song.

60. பரபரப்பு

சுருசுருப்பென்ற பெயராலே

பரபரப்பாக வாழ்ந்தாலே

நேரம் கழிந்திடும் விரைவாக

பயனேதும் காணாமல் பொதுவாக

சுறுசுறுப்பு வேண்டும் சிந்தையிலே

சிறப்பாக காரியம் செய்திடவே

அது பரபரப்பாகி போனாலே

பாழாகும் காரியம் வீணாலே

சோம்பேறி ஆனான் சுமையாக

சமூகம் மீனிதில் பளுவாக

பரபரப்பாளியோ மாறாக

பயன்படான் யாருக்கும் பொதுவாக

சோம்பேறி சற்று சுறுசுறுப்பாகி

பரப்பாளி சற்று பக்குவமாகி

சமநிலை அடைந்தால் பொதுவாக

புரட்சியே தோன்றும் வெகுவிரைவில்

60. Hurry/Haste

In the name of activity

If we live in haste

Time will go quickly

But I won’t find meaning in it.

We need a busy mind

In order to work diligently

But when it becomes mere haste

The work will get spoiled soon.

Lazy person becomes a burden

For the society

Any hasty person wont’ be

Useful for anyone

Lazy person should become active

Hasty person should calm down

If they both strike a balance

Soon a revaluation will come!
