This is based on the verse from Mahabharata:
संयोगाविप्रयोगान्तामरणान्तचजीवितम्[all that are collected will be gone; all that stands will fall, all that come together will be separated and all that are born will die.—a rough translation by me]—Shanti Parva, 27.31,330.20,—P. V. Kane, History of Dharmasastra, Vol. I. Part I. Ch. 32. The Two Epics. Fn. 404. P. 372

61 A truth
If we didn’t have anything to lose
There will be joy in life
All that are collected is only to give up
If we realize this truth there is joy
All that stands will fall
Friendship will end in separation
Death is the end of life
This is what Mahabharata tells.
