Song 86

Mind never remains at rest.  Tossed by various thoughts, there is always unrest in the spirit.  But which is the seat for this struggle—mind, heart or spirit (soul)? Who has analyzed it properly?

Kekaraha (Rewa), 23-3-97, 11-30 a.m.

Kekaraha (Rewa), M. P. 23-3-97, 11-30 a.m.

86 there will be deliverance

Oh my mind don’t be troubled

Surely you will get deliverance

Though thousands of thoughts

Arise like wave in you

Like the wave

As it returns back after touching the shore

Touching the heart

Thoughts will become silent within you

Not troubled by the sound of the waves

Standing firmly

If you began to meditate

On the words of the mind

Oh my heart

You too will realize the true peace

Oh my heart what to say

As I know the truth

Mind and you are not two different entities

Though I know this truth

As my buddhi get confused

I babbled a bit

The confusion in the buddhi

Is nothing but

The echo of the soul

Which gets disturbed?

Because of the sounds of the waves
