Bhakti Gita Introduction
Bhakti Gita (Gitai in Tamil) is inspired by the original Hrudai Gita by the late Danjeer Bai (originally in Gujarati). However, this is not a verbatim translation; instead, I rewrote the entire Gita in poetic form to honor the meaning of the word Gita, which means “song.” Most translations in Indian languages, including English, are in prose form, but I wanted to preserve its lyrical essence.
The music was composed by Sri Sriram of Chennai. Since this work has a limited audience, I won’t elaborate further. Those interested can find translations in both English and Hindi.
